Job Description

Technical Product Owner to lead the delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions by partnering with business stakeholders, architecture teams, and engineering organizations. The ideal candidate will combine strong product ownership, business analysis, and technical expertise to drive roadmap execution, prioritize backlogs, and deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Define product vision, roadmap, epics, features, and user stories.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, dependencies, and stakeholder needs.
  • Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide direction to engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Technical Leadership

  • Collaborate with architects and development teams on solution design and implementation.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Understand application architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and system integrations.
  • Support modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Review technical dependencies, risks, and release plans.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary interface between business, operations, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Communicate product status, roadmap updates, risks, and priorities to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops and ensure stakeholder alignment.

Data & Analytics

  • Analyze business processes and system impacts.
  • Utilize SQL and reporting tools to validate data requirements and support decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality and adherence to governance standards.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical BSA, Business Systems Analyst, or related role.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing product backlogs in Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • APIs & REST Services
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS/OpenShift preferred)
  • System Integration
  • SDLC & Release Management
  • SQL and Data Analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with distributed development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Banking or Financial Services experience.
  • Experience supporting Digital Banking, Payments, Treasury, Risk, Fraud, or Customer Platforms.
  • CSPO, PSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or Agile certifications.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, OpenShift, and Enterprise Architecture.
